Greenwood Plastics is a manufacturer for the burial industry. We produce polystyrene burial vault liners to customers’ requirements as well as products for cremation. A small but growing part of the business is custom plastics manufacturing for the rail road, airline, clothing, and a variety of other industries. Greenwood Plastics is one of the few companies in Illinois able to custom-design and produce small to large thermoformed plastics.

What You Will See

Have you ever wondered how a concrete burial vault is formed? Now you can learn!  Visitors will see our industry-leading extrusion process. Guests will see how we turn resin pellets into polystyrene sheet and how we thermoform the sheet into product. Guests will also see the many different variations of our products.
